FAQ

Yes, you’re more than welcome to come in for lessons. We have taught hundreds of drummer at all levels throughout the years. We’d be happy to teach you from the very beginning. Our goal is to see every student grow as a drummer.

Yes, We offer the possibility to take several lessons in a row. 1, 2, 3, or even 4 hours can be arranged upon requests.

You don’t need to bring anything and can basically come in empty-handed. If you have a pair of sticks, bring them. If not, we’ll lend you a pair.

No, sorry. Please use one of the parking lots close by.

It’s totally fine. We will give you papers during the lessons but we will also explain and demonstrate everything we do. You’re welcome to record audio during the lessons. We have a lot of material to help you get comfortable reading music too. All optional of course.

Yes. We have a digital lessons studio specifically made for kids under the age of 12. We have two Roland electronic drums sets set up making the lessons suitable for children. When they turn 12 they can move over to the acoustic drum studio.

It’s a hard question to answer. It depends on the song, your level and how much time you have to practice. We’ll do our best to help you but it’s not always possible. We sometimes arrange the songs a little for these reasons. So, to answer your question, YES and NO.

Currently we have two teachers. You can choose according to schedule and availability.

Yes. We also offer lessons in Japanese and Swedish.

No. At the moment it’s only one-on-one lessons.

Yes. There are many ways to practice at home without a drum set. We recommend buying sticks and a practice pad. That will get you pretty far. If you live in a city, there are rehearsal studios where drum sets are provided. You can rent a room at one of those for an hourly fee.

A drummers job is to keep time and provide a good rhythm. These are things we all have to practice regardless of our level. It might take time and hard work but everyone can improve and get better. I’m sure we can help you and make it enjoyable in the process.

No. Of course it helps to have a drum set but it’s big and very loud. Consider going to rehearsal studios to practice or get an electronic drum set. Practice pads at home are also great tools.

Yes we do. We have double pedals at the studio for your convenience but you’re welcome to bring in your own pedals if you like.
